Kate Morawetz is a graduate of the Media, Information and Technoculture program at the University of Western Ontario. After interning at various gigs in Toronto and L.A., she landed a job at MTV Canada before joining Entertainment Tonight Canada. A self proclaimed connoisseur of man-ponies slash “creative junkie”, Kate has an eclectic musical taste and enjoys reading, Canadian tuxedos, long walks in wooded areas with her dog Louie, photography, dry white wines and a good spinach & strawberry salad.
Jeremy is a new media producer based out of Toronto. He has a degree in journalism from Ryerson University and enjoys keeping tabs on the latest innovative trends and techniques in multimedia production. Whether it be editorial, video or social, he’s always trying to think “outside-the-box” to engage viewers. Before joining the ET Canada team, Jeremy was developing digital video programming for SHARP Magazine, and also contributing as a web reporter for properties like Esquire, AskMen and Cineplex. He’s an extremely avid supporter of comic-book blockbuster films and especially, old Hollywood behind-the-scene stories involving George Lucas and Steven Spielberg.
Sylvia Ogweng is a freelance entertainment writer for etcanada.com. She is a Toronto-based digital strategy consultant, news junkie and freelance content producer. She rarely leaves home without a backup wireless connection and was recently accused of being obsessed with the Internet.
Brent Furdyk is a freelance TV writer with etcanada.com. A member of the TV Critics Association, Brent has interviewed TV’s biggest stars and reviewed hundreds of television series. He’s still waiting for someone to make a better show than “The Sopranos”.
