Before the credits roll on the 2016 edition of the Toronto International Film Festival, Hailee Steinfeld and Woody Harrelson will premiere their coming-of-age comedy “The Edge Of Seventeen”.
The stars will close down the festival with director Kelly Fremon Craig’s look at high school life that’s earning comparisons to the classic films of John Hughes (“Sixteen Candles”, “The Breakfast Club”). The multi-talented Steinfeld stars as Nadine, a quirky teen whose life becomes unbearable when her best friend Krista (Haley Lu Richardson) starts dating her older brother Darian (Blake Jenner). With the help of her favourite teacher (Woody Harrelson), Nadine just might make it out of high school.
With Steinfeld and Harrelson expected to attend, ET Canada’s Roz Weston will be coming to you live from the closing night gala at Roy Thomson Hall beginning at approximately 7:15 p.m. ET on Saturday. Post your comments for the stars below.
