Adele paid tribute to Amy Winehouse during her Wednesday night tour stop in Boston, MA.
The singer dedicated her cover of Bob Dylan’s classic “Make You Feel My Love” to the late songstress on what would have been Winehouse’s 33rd birthday.
“I used to think she was the coolest motherf***king…I feel like I owe 90 percent of my career to her,” Adele told the crowd before honouring the British “Back To Black” singer. “Because of her, I picked up a guitar and because of her, I wrote my own songs. The songs I got signed on were the songs that I wrote completely on my own – if it wasn’t for her, that wouldn’t have happened… Her first album, “Frank”, it really changed my life.”
“Everyday I wish I would hear a new song from her,” she added.
