Jamie Dornan In Talks For Role In ‘Robin Hood: Origins’

“Fifty Shades Darker” star Jamie Dornan may be heading to Sherwood Forest in “Robin Hood: Origins”.

Dornan is in talks to appear as Will Scarlett, one of Robin Hood’s Merry Men in the gritty take on the legend of Robin Hood. “Kingsman: The Secret Service” star Taron Egerton has been cast as Robin Hood, with Jamie Foxx as Little John and Eve Hewson as Maid Marian in the retelling.

Traditionally, Will Scarlett is portrayed as a hot-headed swordsman, but in this version, he’ll be Marian’s husband who is none-too-pleased to discover her affections for the outlaw.

Filming is set to being in January in Budapest with the film scheduled to hit theatres in late 2017.

Dornan will next be seen on both big and small screens in season three of the TV crime thriller “The Fall” and will once again appear as Christian Grey in “Fifty Shades Darker” which opens in theatres on Valentine’s Day.
