Fans will remember Peter Quinn fighting for his life near the end of season five and it turns out the man behind the character can’t catch a break either — well not the kind of break he’d like.

34-year-old actor Rupert Friend broke a bone in his ankle off duty, stemming from injuries suffered during seasons four and five of “Homeland”. Friend even showed up to the 2016 Emmys on crutches.

Friend told Deadline the show’s crew have been very considerate in light of the circumstances: “Everyone has been very accommodating.”
