Kesha Comes To Corey Feldman’s Defence Following ‘Today’ Show Backlash

Kesha is coming to Corey Feldman’s defence after his “Today Show” performance of “Go 4 It” was widely panned online.

The “Die Young” singer addressed the criticism in an Instagram post on Tuesday. “this just broke my heart,” she wrote alongside a recent news report discussing the controversy. “I wanna reach out to Corey Feldman in a kind way and say that you have to not read that s***. people can be so horrible and mean online and it can BREAK you. do you, f*** everyone.”

She continued, writing, “those people have never performed on the today show. it’s easy to sit at a computer and talk shit. it’s not easy to perform in front of millions. keep your head up. normal is BORING.”

Kesha’s post follows in P!nk’s footsteps, in which the pop star reached out to Feldman via Twitter on Monday. “I know how much it takes to get up there and do your thing. Keep your head up and know that you’re loved,” P!nk said.

Feldman recently addressed the barrage of social media attacks in a since-deleted Facebook live session where he expressed at the ongoing reaction online. “We can’t get out of bed right now,” he his fans. “We’re petrified to even go out … And I’m sorry, but we just wanted the world to know, like, we’re really freaked out over this and it’s really not fair.”
