One-half of pop-rap duo Jack & Jack has been arrested for allegedly stealing a sweatshirt at Los Angeles International Airport. His fellow bandmate Jack Johnson has been documenting the ordeal on Snapchat with a fan re-posting the videos on Twitter.
The popular Vine and YouTube star was arrested on Tuesday after what Johnson claims was an “accidental” theft, with Gilinsky offering to pay for the sweatshirt he took, but the store’s manager insisted he be charged. Johnson called the manager a “b***” and “petty” in one video posted to Snapchat.
Johnson documented the ordeal, posting photos of Gilinsky’s arrest and video of him with the allegedly stolen sweatshirt.
Gilinsky is currently being held in a Los Angeles Police Department station, as Johnson continues to post to Snapchat from outside.
