Angelina Jolie’s manager has addressed the media following his client’s divorce news.
Jolie made headlines after it was revealed that she was filing for a divorce from husband Brad Pitt.
Geyer Kosinski, the representative for the 41-year-old actress, told E! that Jolie is doing what she believes is best for her family: “Angelina will always do what’s in the best interest of taking care of her family… She appreciates everyone’s understanding of their need for privacy at this time.”
52-year-old Pitt addressed the divorce filings earlier today, admitting his sadness but echoing that the couple’s six children are the main priority: “What matters most now is the well being of our kids.”
The “Mr. & Mrs. Smith” co-stars first met on the set of their film in 2004, sparking a relationship and eventually marrying in 2014.
