Former child star Billy Gilman blew everyone away when he took “The Voice” stage in an episode which aired on Tuesday night.
The 28-year-old delivered a roaring rendition of Adele’s “When We Were Young” and managed to receive chair turns from all four judges!
Gilman first hit it big with his debut country single “One Voice,” which turned into a top 20 hit on the country charts. At the tender age of 12, the song made him the youngest singer to nab a top 40 country single and earned him double platinum status.
“I started out as a young country artist and had great success,” Billy told the judges. “To finally be here in a moment where I can finally sing the way I so badly wanted to even then, and to finally stand here and be amongst you, it truthfully is such an honour.”
Gilman would eventually join Adam Levine’s team, but not before being recognised by country vets Blake Shelton and Miley Cyrus.
