Gigi Hadid is the latest victim of Vitalii Sediuk, known as a Ukrainian prankster (whom many are calling an attacker), who lifted her off the ground on her way out of a fashion show in Milan.
The frightening incident occurred moments after Hadid was spotted leaving the Max Mara show with her sister Bella.
Footage from her Milan Fashion Week exit shows the model elbowing a man who grabbed her and picked her off the ground.
Hadid is heard yelling “let go of me…who the f*** are you?” before the attacker made a run for it.
“You piece of sh**,” she added before jumping into a waiting car.
On Thursday, the 21-year-old model addressed her aggressive moves and defended herself against a Sun report accusing her of overreacting.
“And had EVERY RIGHT to defend myself. How dare that idiot thinks he has the right to man-handle a complete stranger. He ran quick tho,” she tweeted alongside a report that deemed her actions, “not model behaviour.”
Writer Rachel McGrath altered the headline in a tweet writing “Alternative headline – GOOD FOR HER: Gigi Hadid Reacts In Totally Appropriate Way When Random Man Tries To Lift Her In The Street.”
Hadid responded to the show of support by thanking McGrath for the clever correction.
The Sun has since edited their headline twice after McGrath called out the newspaper for their inaccurate presentation of events.
A few hours later Hadid returned to Twitter, sending out a few cheeky tweets that addressed her run-in with Sediuk.
