Pippa Middleton’s iCloud account has been hacked and over 3,000 photos from the leak are currently being shopped to publications, the Independent reports.
The privacy leak is said to include personal photos of Middleton and naked images of her fiance James Matthews; as well as images of the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge and their children, Prince George and Princess Charlotte.
The seller, who is going by the name of “Crafty Cockney” has reportedly contacted media outlets claiming that he is in possession of pictures from parties, weddings and “pretty much everything in between.”
“Due to current climate on privacy laws in the UK I’m intending a quick US sale but would at least give you a heads-up,” the seller continued.
Thursday night saw a source close to the Duchess’s sister confirm that the pictures are indeed, genuine.
A spokesperson has since confirmed that “Miss Middleton’s lawyers have been informed and, in due course, the police will too.”
The seller added: “This is obviously a vast source of info and pictures that I neither want nor intend to keep in my possession very long.”
The hacker reportedly contacted The Sun newspaper on Thursday demanding a minimum of $56,000 USD within 48 hours for the lot of images.
To prove the authenticity of the images, the hacker emailed two photos of Middleton at what appeared to be her wedding dress fitting.
Though the photo of the dress was blocked off, it showed the famous sister smiling as her mom Carole took photos in the background.
Following news of the hack, London police have arrested a 35-year-old man suspected of hacking Middelton’s iCloud account; according to Metropolitan Police sources, the unidentified man is currently being questioned in London.
