Leonardo DiCaprio will take his environmentalism straight to the White House, meeting with U.S. President Barack Obama to discuss ways to combat climate change.
The conversation will take place at the inaugural South by South Lawn: A White House Festival of Ideas, Arts and Action. DiCaprio and Obama will be joined by scientist Dr. Katharine Hayhoe, discussing: “the importance of protecting the one planet we’ve got for future generations.”
Immediately after the talk, the Academy award-winning actor will debut his new climate change documentary “Before the Flood”. The film’s premiere is being described as a: “first-of-its-kind film screening.”
DiCaprio, 41, acknowledged the upcoming conversation on his official Twitter.
