Kevin James has already won over viewers with his return to sitcoms in Global’s hit “Kevin Can Wait”, and viewers will soon be seeing another side of the former “King of Queens” star with the debut of his first Netflix original movie, “True Memoirs of an International Assassin”.
In the new action-comedy, James plays Sam Larson, a mild-mannered would-be author who gets mistaken for a killer-for-hire when his fictional novel about an international assassin winds up becoming published as a true story. When the book becomes a huge success, Larson is kidnapped, taken out of the country, and forced into an assassination plot.
Also starring Andy Garcia, Zulay Henao, Rob Riggle and Canada’s own Kim Coates (“Sons of Anarchy”), “True Memoirs of an International Assassin” debuts on Friday, Nov. 11. Check out this exclusive first look:
Can’t wait until then? You can also catch Kevin James each week by tuning in Mondays at 8:30 p.m. on Global “Kevin Can Wait”; you can also watch full episodes online.
