Walk Off The Earth Slammed For Changing Lyrics In ‘O Canada’ Performance — Even Though They Didn’t!

Walk Off the Earth performed Canada’s national anthem tonight at the World Cup of Hockey final game, yet controversy ensued when the Canadian band was taken to task on social media for what some thought was a change to the iconic lyrics of “O Canada”.

Twitter users were choked when the band sang “all of us command” in the place of “all thy sons command,” with one blasting WOTE for its “BS agenda” while a Liberal MP attempts to enact legislation to alter the lyrics to the national anthem to make the language less gender-specific version.

However, as the band points out in a reply, “all of us command” is actually not a new, PC lyric at all, but the original words of the song when it was written in 1908.
