Fifth Harmony group member Ally Brooke was attacked on stage while performing in Mexico just two days after she had a jarring encounter with yet another crazed fan.
While performing in Mexico on Thursday night, the 23-year-old singer was bombarded on stage by an overly aggressive fan, who ran past security and attempted to embrace Brooke and pull her to the ground, shocking her band members and onlooking fans.
Just 48 hours prior, the singer, who rose to fame on “The X Factor”, was grabbed by an overly-excited fan at the Monterrey airport during her arrival. She later made a plea to fans over social media to take more care.
“I am okay after the airport incident,” she shared. “Please be careful and gentle so nobody gets hurt. That was scary.” Brooke went on to say that she was thrilled, however, to be performing in Mexico. “It’s been a dream of mine since I was little,” she said.
L.A. Reid, who signed the group, spoke with TMZ about the incidents and noted that Brooke should probably get some more security. “You never know what can happen at any given moment,” he said, later joking, “She’s very hot, she’s very famous, that’s why.”
