Judge Orders Justin Bieber To Give Deposition In Paparazzi Lawsuit — Or Face Arrest

Justin Bieber’s legal troubles continue, with a Florida judge ordering the Canadian pop star to sit for a deposition in the lawsuit launched against him by a Miami photographer who claims The Biebs’ bodyguard roughed him up during an altercation in January 2014.

The judge has given Bieber 30 days to appear; if he doesn’t show up and testify for the deposition, reports Associated Press, he could face arrest and be brought into court.

The attorney for Miami-based paparazzi Manuel Muñoz says he has been unable to get Bieber to sit for the deposition, and convincingly argued before the judge that Bieber shouldn’t receive special treatment just because he’s a celebrity.

Bieber’s attorney was contacted by AP, but didn’t immediately respond to a request for comment.
