After Kim Kardashian was bound, gagged and held at gunpoint during a robbery in Paris on Sunday night, Twitter trolls were quick to make light of the harrowing incident. James Corden, who was one of the first celebrities to come to her defense, was praised for his public condemnation of commenters by his “The Late Late Show” guest Jamie Lee Curtis.
“You were the first person to stand up and tell the Twitter souls that they should shut the f*** up and leave this poor woman alone, and let her recover. You said it, and I’m impressed by you,”Curtis told the host during Monday night’s show. “It’s a mother of two small children! My God, these people just need to have their devices put somewhere.”
“Regardless of whatever you think of someone, it’s someone being held at gunpoint in a room,” Corden added. “Just don’t say anything. You don’t need to say anything. Just don’t do anything.”
Kardashian is back in New York City following the traumatic experience with a source telling ET she’s “very, very shaken up” by the incident.
