One of Queen Elizabeth’s last dear Corgi’s has passed away.
The Queen has but one of her furry little companions left, after 13-year-old Holly was put down in response to a serious illness. Members of the public may remember Holly for her role in the James Bond sketch at the opening ceremony of the 2012 London Olympics.
Queen Elizabeth remaining Corgi, Willow, is kept company by two Corgi-Dachshund crossbreeds named Vulcan and Candy. The loveable furry pals are not only a comfort for the Queen, but for her others as well. She once had her mini-pack help a traumatised war surgeon suffering from PTSD.
Holly was buried while at a retreat in Scotland last week.
