Gavin Rossdale is breaking his silence after finalizing his divorce from Gwen Stefani.
The Bush singer opened up about his very public split with The Sunday Times in a candid interview that saw him admitting that he’d like to move on once and for all from his headline-grabbing divorce.
“It’s like enough already. I’ve got to move on,” he told the British newspaper. “Everyone has got to move on.”
Given the nature of the split (Rossdale reportedly cheated on Stefani with the nanny), the news was bound to take up space in gossip papers, but Rossdale was hit with an additional wave of reports after Stefani quickly moved on with her “The Voice” co-star Blake Shelton.
“For me, it’s just thinking about the boys and how to prioritize them,” he continued. “That’s the driving force behind everything. You just have to … I don’t know. Somehow you have to put one foot after the other and make it happen.”
Rossdale is now moving on with a coaching position on the British version of “The Voice”. He’ll be joining the show as a coach alongside Jennifer Hudson, Tom Jones and Will.i.am.
“I’m so thrilled to be joining,” Rossdale said about his newest gig. “I’ve always been extremely proud to fly the flag for British rock music and I can’t wait to join this incredible panel and help discover some new talent.”
