When Daniel Craig said he’d “rather break [a] glass and slash [his wrists]” than take on the role of Bond yet again, many were convinced that “Spectre” was the last we’d see of the actor as the iconic British spy.
Now, Craig is back peddling on his controversial comments and looks to be contemplating the Bond role once more. “When asked 20 feet from the end of the marathon, ‘Will you do another marathon?’ the answer is simple,” he quipped at this weekend’s New Yorker Festival. “It’s like, ‘No, I won’t.’”
“There is no other job like it…if I were to stop doing it, I would miss it terribly,” a candid Craig continued.
The 48-year-old went on to reveal that discussions on the next instalment have yet to begin, insisting that “there’s no conversation going on…Because everybody’s just a bit tired.”
