Kim Kardashian is firing back after allegations emerged that the reality star falsified her shocking Paris robbery.
According to legal documents obtained by ET Canada, the 35-year-old reality television star filed a federal lawsuit against website MediaTakeOut.com, after it wrote on three separate occasions about her hotel room incident in the fashion capital that has reportedly left the mother of two completely “shaken.”
The documents take note of one article that alleges Kardashian “staged” being robbed by armed men, and another claiming that “French authorities” said that Kardashian had “let the robbers [into]” her no-address apartment. While the third piece referenced the social media maven’s insurance claim.
Kardashian’s lawyers, Marty Singer and Andrew Brettler, wrote in the suit that the media outlet had used social media users as its official sources for the unreal information and decided to move forward with the suit after the outlet refused to remove the articles and apologize for their claims.
