After celebrating World Mental Health Day in London alongside Prince William and Prince Harry on Monday, Duchess Kate was spotted admiring the iconic “Girl with a Pearl Earring” painting by Dutch artist Johannes Vermeer during a visit to Mauritshuis museum in The Hague on Tuesday — her first Royal engagement without Prince William.
The Royal lingered around the classic painting from which she seemingly took inspiration for her stylish look.
Kate slipped into a chic Catherine Walker cornflower blue skirt suit and accessorized the ladylike ensemble with pearl earrings and nude suede pumps.
The 34-year-old mother-of-two completed her look by pulling back her brunette locks into a sleek and sweeping updo.
The Duchess, who studied art history at university, could be seen smiling and conversing with the museum’s gallery director while admiring the site’s extensive collection.
Kate’s one-day trip to the Netherlands also included a meeting with King Willem Alexander and Queen Maxima.
