Jillian Harris Details ‘Unexpected’ Birth Story And ‘Leaks’ Info On A New Project

From her time on “The Bachelorette” to hosting “Love It Or List It” Jillian Harris has always been open about her life and delivering her new bundle of joy, Leo, is no different.

Since welcoming her little lion with boyfriend Justin Pasutto on August 5, the designer and “quintessential busy bee” has shared her first outing as a mom, Leo’s “sip & see” party and many other “firsts” for the couple, but hadn’t gotten around to sharing her birth story.

Explaining (in detail!) the events that led up to Leo’s birth, Harris also shared some intimate family photos in an article she penned on her website.

“We were shuffling things around in the nursery for filming the next day and I told Justin that I thought my water had broke,” Harris writes. “Which was really confusing because (sorry for the graphic details) but it was more of a slow, slow leak.”

If you follow the new mom on social media, some of these events might sound familiar like Harris choosing to relax at the lake even though she was “leaking” (details, remember?).

“I went to go walk Nacho down at the beach,” she explains. “…and we thought it was a great idea to go for a little sunset swim with our clothes on.”

Things pretty much escalate from there, with Harris detailing how long it took for her water to  break and how she “liked” the contractions.” The designer and host also details how birth can go from blissful to scary after being told she might have to deliver via c-section as Leo was wrapped up in his umbilical cord.

Another exciting revelation made in the article is that Harris “leaks” (her words, not ours) some details about a secret pilot she’s shooting (we can’t wait to hear more about this), not to mention the fact that due to the camera crew being at the hospital, the family was able to document their little lion’s dramatic entrance.
