Paul McCartney Joined Onstage By Rihanna At Weekend 2 Of Desert Trip

The second weekend of the historic Desert Trip festival is currently underway, and the icons-of-rock fest (including the likes of The Rolling Stones, Bob Dylan and The Who) continues to serve up surprises.

Last weekend, Paul McCartney was joined for a duet with fellow headliner Neil Young, while last night saw Sir Paul welcome a very special guest onstage: Rihanna, who joined the former Beatle for a performance of their hit “FourFiveSeconds” (co-written by McCartney, RiRi and Kanye West).

“We finally found someone under the age of 50,” McCartney quipped of the greying audience at the festival that’s jokingly been nicknamed “Oldchella.” Check out their amazing performance from last night’s concert:

During his career-spanning set, McCartney served up an array of hits from The Beatles and Wings, including these rocking renditions of the Fab Four’s “A Hard Day’s Night” and “Gotta Get You Into My Life.”
