Toni Braxton Cancels Show After Return To Hospital In Lupus Battle, Calls It ‘Minor Setback’

Toni Braxton is back in the hospital as she continues to battle lupus, forcing the singer to cancel a scheduled Saturday-night show in Cleveland.

As TMZ reports, the “Un-Break My Heart” singer postponed the concert when she was once again hospitalized in what she’s calling a “minor setback” that she’s hoping won’t affect any other dates on her “The Hits” tour.

“The singer seemed to be on the mend, performing in Kansas City Friday night where Birdman made a surprise appearance,” notes TMZ, “but her condition worsened the next day.”

Braxton was hospitalized earlier this month for complications from lupus. Braxton is scheduled to perform tonight in Chicago, and according to a recent Facebook post from the singer it appears as though she’s on the mend and the show will go on as planned.
