James Franco Sued For Allegedly Head-Butting Photographer At Concert

James Franco is being sued, with the New York Daily News reporting photographer David Tonnessen has launched a lawsuit claiming the “This Is the End” star head-butted him during a Lana Del Rey concert in October 2014.

According to Tonnessen’s lawsuit, the actor smiled “rather demonically” and had “a blank expression of joy on his face” when he attacked the photographer while he was taking photos at the concert, held at the Hollywood Forever Cemetery in Los Angeles.

Tonnessen claims that Franco head-butted him in the stomach, knocked him to the ground then ran away in to the crowd, and claims the attack led him to be hospitalized with “severe and permanent physical and psychological injuries.”

“He has sued for assault, battery and intentional infliction of emotional distress and is requesting monetary and punitive damages,” reports the Daily News, adding that a rep for the actor did not respond to a request for comment.
