Michael Buble is reflecting on his music’s new direction in a trailer for his upcoming album, “Nobody But Me”.
The five-minute trailer invites fans into the recording studio as Buble records songs for the new album, offering behind-the-scenes previews of the collection’s undeniable hits. “I wanted to move out of my comfort zone…I was hungry for real change…I need it to grow,” he shared. “It was intense. It wasn’t a lot of fun at first. It was a lot like going to the gym. It was heavy lifting, and it was nerve-wracking,” he admitted. “But every time I left the room, I finished and felt even more fulfilled.”
Out this Friday, “Nobody But Me” includes a combination of classic covers and original pop songs that see him push the envelope.
“I felt that I kept leaving with better songs than I had ever written before because I wasn’t afraid to lean on people,” he added. “I wasn’t afraid to create with people.”
