Prince Harry is more like his grandfather than anyone could have guessed.
In a photo shared to the Instagram account of Getty Images Royal Photographer Chris Jackson on Tuesday, fans could not help but notice a striking similarity between an old photo of Prince Philip on the 1957 cover of Paris Match magazine and how his grandson Prince Harry looks today.
Perceived to be around 36-years-old at the time, Prince Philip features bright blue eyes, a handsome smile and a red beard similar to that of Prince Harry, who is 32-years-old. While the two look very different today, they nonetheless have followed similar career paths.
As People notes, Prince Philip joined the Royal Navy in 1939 at the age of 18, and later served with the Mediterranean and Pacific fleets during World War II. Following in the footsteps of his grandfather, Prince Harry also chose a career in the military out of school and served over in Afghanistan twice.
