Xtina is back — and she’s ready to boogie!
That’s the message we can take from Christina Aguilera’s release of a short preview version the music video for her latest single, the disco-riffic “Telepathy”.
The song — which appears in Baz Luhrmann’s Netflix series “The Get Down” — was produced by funk-master Nile Rodgers, and was initially released in August. Previously, Aguilera recorded a cover of “Lady Marmalade” with Pink and Lil Kim for Luhrmann’s 2001 film “Moulin Rouge!”
In the video, Aguilera sports knee-high boots and big ’70s-style disco hair, singing the song while laying on a glittery pool table.
“I wanted to make a fun video for my fans since ‘Telepathy’ from ‘The Get Down’ is #1 on the Billboard Dance Club Songs Chart,” she wrote on Facebook. “Thanks to all the fans, radio and DJs loving the song! XoXtina.”
