Khloe Kardashian kicked off the week by offending her fans not just once, but twice, in one day.
The “Keeping Up With The Kardashians” star shared a group photo that included herself, boyfriend Tristan Thompson and three other friends proudly wearing their Halloween disguises on Monday. And while Kardashian’s costume — Storm from “X-Men” — was well received by fans, her male friend, who was dressed in a traditional Middle Eastern red-and-white head scarf, drew criticism from fans.
“To your friend on the left, please let him know that what he is doing is cultural appropriation and it’s extremely offensive,” user @noortoeama wrote.
Shortly thereafter, Kardashian returned to Twitter where she offended even more of her fans with her latest blog post.
As part of the “Glam Room” section on her official site, Kardashian tried on several of “Spring’s hottest beauty trends,” including Marc Jacobs’ controversial pastel dreadlocks hairstyle from the S/S17 runways.
“I absolutely despise this on me! I think dreads are really cool but the rainbow combined with the dreads is just too much on me,” she wrote. “But how cute is my little Kenny with her dreads walking in the show?! Werk sissy, werk!!”
The blog post quickly drew criticism from fans, who accused her of “appropriating black culture”.
“Black culture isn’t a f**king fashion trend,” @imlxlawolf tweeted. “STOP.”
