After a teasing introduction in “Batman V. Superman: Dawn Of Justice”, Gal Gadot’s Wonder Woman is showing superhero strength in the new trailer for her solo big screen outing.
The Amazonian goddess enters the world of men as the horrors of World War I encroach on her idyllic paradise as she is called to enter a fight to save the world. Partnering up with Chris Pine’s Steve Trevor, the duo will begin their fight to stop the war.
Promising lots of explosive action as Diana Prince slays – literally – in her iconic red and gold superhero costume, the movie directed by Patty Jenkins will also serve to officially expand the DC Universe and introduce audiences to the Flash, Aquaman and Cyborg, all characters who are set to have their own stand-alone films.
Robin Wright, David Thewlis, Connie Nielsen and Ewan Bremner co-star alongside Jason Momoa as Aquaman, Ezra Miller as The Flash and Ray Fisher as Cyborg.
“Wonder Woman” hits theatres on June 2, 2017.
