Last week the second trailer for the upcoming “Wonder Woman” film was released and it was packed with Gal Gadot kicking some serious butt.
In the trailer, Chris Pine stars as Steve Trevor, Diana’s love interest, which is in keeping with the comic book history of the character, but not so with recent revelations that Diana Price might be bisexual.
Wonder Woman writer Greg Rucka set the Internet on fire saying his character is in fact bisexual and star Gal Gadot fanned the flame, making it clear that while the character’s sexuality is not addressed in the first standalone film, it is something that “makes sense.”
“It’s not something we’ve explored” Gadot told Variety, adding, “but when you talk theoretically about all the women on Themyscira and how many years she was there, then what [Rucka] said made sense.”
The 31-year-old actress, who recently announced she’s expecting her second child, told Israeli talk show, “Good Night With Guy Pines”, that she had an actress in mind, if the story was to move in that direction.
“Halle Berry,” the actress shared. “She’s so beautiful. Wow! She’s gorgeous! So yeah… I could do it with her.”
