Disney’s live-action adaptation of “Beauty And The Beast” will feature a duet by Ariana Grande and John Legend.
The pair will perform the enchanting ballad “Beauty And The Beast” for the soundtrack which will also be heard in the film.
Originally performed by Celine Dion and Peabo Bryson for the original 1991 animated film, Grande and Legend’s version will be a fresh, updated take on the ballad. A new music video will also be released with the song.
The song is just one of the many familiar sights and sounds being re-worked for the live-action movie.
In the trailer for the film, the “Tale As Old As Time” comes alive with Emma Watson as Belle and features several familiar moments from the animated classic, including the iconic Oscar-winning score.
Boasting an A-list cast to bring the inhabitants of the enchanted castle to life — Dan Stevens as The Beast, Ewan McGregor as Lumiere, Ian McKellen as Cogsworth, Emma Thompson as Mrs. Potts, Gugu Mbatha-Raw as Plumette and Stanley Tucci as Credenza — the film also stars Luke Evans as the burly Gaston, with Josh Gad playing his sniveling sidekick Le Fou.
“Beauty And The Beast” opens in theatres on March 17, 2017.
