When photos emerged a few years back of Jon Hamm wearing tight slacks and, apparently, no underwear, the apparent size of what he was packing became a topic of conversation among fans, spawning such nicknames for the “Mad Men” star’s member as “Hammaconda,” “The Hammer” and — cleverly referencing his TV character — “Dong Draper.”
Hamm himself hasn’t said too much about the fascination with his member, but in a new interview with GQ Australia he relents to share his feelings about the fan obsession with his apparently impressive junk.
“It was a topic of fascination for other people, certainly not me,” he told the mag, according to Us Weekly. “By the way, as rumours go, not the worst.”
Judging from that remark, Hamm seems to have made peace with people obsessing over the size of his penis, which certainly wasn’t the case when he spoke with Rolling Stone in 2013.
“They’re called ‘privates’ for a reason,” he told Rolling Stone. “I’m wearing pants, for f***’s sake. Lay off. I mean, it’s not like I’m a f***ing lead miner. There are harder jobs in the world. But when people feel the freedom to create Tumblr accounts about my [penis], I feel like that wasn’t part of the deal … But whatever. I guess it’s better than being called out for the opposite.”
