During an appearance on “Today” Friday promoting her new film, “Nocturnal Animals”, Isla Fisher spilled the news that “Wedding Crashers 2” is in development.
Fisher bumped into her “Wedding Crashers” co-star Vince Vaughn at a party recently and he told her that they’re going to be making a sequel. “I’m really excited to see what’s happened to Gloria,” she said. Though she soon realized she probably shared too much. “I shouldn’t have really announced it on morning television, but apparently there is talk about it.”
She also discussed how often she and her “Nocturnal Animals” co-star Amy Adams get mistaken for each other. “So much so that, actually, my husband and I, one year for our holiday greeting card, I cut and pasted Amy Adams’ face over mine, so it was Sacha, Amy, and the kids — and no one noticed,” she revealed.
Working with director Tom Ford was a dream. “Tom Ford is amazing. To work with him one-on-one as a filmmaker, he’s got that incredible eye for detail,” she said. She admitted to feeling the pressure working with the fashion icon, though. “I was caught in the makeup trailer with Ugg boots on and I was like, ‘I can’t let Tom Ford know I even own Ugg boots,'” she joked.
