With a peaceful and heartwarming American Thanksgiving to look forward to on Thursday, Chrissy Teigen made sure to release her pent-up anger ahead of the U.S. holiday in a special Twitter Q & A with some of her fiercest critics.
The model was the subject of harsh criticism earlier this week after suffering a major wardrobe malfunction on the American Music Awards red carpet, and despite posting an apology on Monday, onlookers continued their attacks via Twitter.
Rather than issuing written replies to the stream of complaints, however, Teigen added a much more personal touch to her rebukes by recording videos for her haters.
“@chrissyteigen could’ve just wore [sic] pants,” a Twitter user named Alivia wrote, to which Teigen replied, saying, “well, Alivia, hindsight is 20/20. Just like your mom when she named you with an ‘A’ instead of an ‘O.’”
Another user named Sean, meanwhile, replied to Teigen’s comment that you could clearly see she is a lady (referring to her wardrobe mishap): “No, you’re a woman, not a lady. A lady doesn’t speak like you do or dress that way.”
“Oh Sean, I wake up every day just wanting to please you,” she clapped back in a second clip. “I’m so sorry I disappointed you. I don’t know what I can say but, wow, I apologize. I didn’t mean it to happen. But sorry, Sean. Sorry.”
