During an appearance on “The Breakfast Club” radio show, Nick Cannon had a lot to say about everything from not voting to planned parenthood.
Mariah Carey’s ex-husband shared his thoughts on the election, choosing between Hilary Clinton and Donald Trump and Planned Parenthood. “That type of stuff is to take our community and – forget gentrification, it’s real genocide. And it’s been like that for years. This system is not built for us,” he said about Planned Parenthood.
Cannon is anti-abortion and his personal feelings on the matter were shared in his 2005 song, “Can I Live”, in which he revealed that his mother nearly terminated her pregnancy when she was carrying him and changed her mind at the very last minute.
As for the 2016 US Presidential election, Cannon didn’t care for either Clinton or Trump. “Picking out of these candidates was like choosing which gun you want to get shot with,” he said. “It’s the same system, pick your oppressor. You can’t vote your way out of oppression,” Cannon said, also admitting he didn’t vote.
