‘Moonlight’ Wins Best Feature At Gotham Awards: See The Full List Of Winners

The Gotham Independent Awards took place in New York City on Monday night, held each year by the Independent Filmmaking Projects in order to shine the spotlight on smaller, independent films.

At this year’s 26th annual awards the big winner was “Moonlight”, director Barry Jenkins’ coming-of-age story about a young African-American man, which took home four awards, including Best Feature, Best Screenplay, Best Ensemble and the Audience Award.

Other winners included Casey Affleck, who won Best Actor for his performance in “Manchester By the Sea”, and Isabelle Huppert, who took home Best Actress honours for “Elle”, while Amy Adams was presented with a career tribute award by Cate Blanchett.
