ET Canada can confirm Kanye West, 39, has been released from UCLA Medical Center after being treated for exhaustion and dehydration for over a week. A source confirms to Entertainment Tonight the rapper is now “at home resting” with his children and wife Kim Kardashian by his side.
“He is happy to finally be back home,” the source tells ET. “It’s Saint’s first birthday on Monday and he is happy he can be there for that.”
The source reveals Kardashian was “very concerned” about her husband during his hospitalization and “hated seeing him in that position,” and she felt helpless knowing she couldn’t really do anything to help except “be at his side.”
“She left the hospital a handful of times to go home, change, see the kids, and other errands,” the source recalls. “But she mostly stayed by his side.”
It was recently the nine-year anniversary of his mother’s funeral and hectic schedules in recent months ultimately led to the cancellation of his “Saint Pablo” tour.
ET’s source says the reports circulating about marriage troubles are not true, adding there “can be some frustration at times” due to their busy careers and often being apart. “They are like any normal couple where they do have to work at their marriage, and they do,” says the source.
Meanwhile, Kardashian’s younger sister Kendall Jenner spoke out in support of her sister and brother-in-law at Wednesday’s Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show in Paris, saying: “Everyone is doing okay, just praying.”
