Fergie is back in the spotlight announcing she has new music on the way in early 2017. The star, 41, went live on Facebook recently to break some good news to Fergie fans, revealing her new album is done and she’s “turned it in!”
She hasn’t released a solo album since her mega-hit “The Dutchess” in 2006. And the stunner even apologized to fans for taking so long with this project, “I’m sorry it’s taken so long, to those of you who have been waiting, I just got a kid and a husband and I need sleep and I just really cared about it.”
The former Black Eyed Peas singer revealed that fans can expect a little bit of everything on the brand-new album: “I’ve put blood, sweat and tears into this album and there’s personal stuff, there’s pop stuff, hip-hop stuff, throwback stuff… some reggae, ballads, fun, silly, all of the above.”
No word yet on an album title or an exact release date, but Fergie just released “Life Goes On” as a follow up single to her summer jam, “M.I.L.F. $” “It’s done and it’s coming out in the beginning of the year,” she promised.
But it looks like we’ll be seeing and hearing more of the mom-of-one before her album’s released in the New Year.
She stepped out this week to the Two Ten Footwear Foundation’s Gala Dinner in the Big Apple in fine form. And she had another big announcement on Thursday: “I’m back to host the Billboard Hollywood Party for Dick Clark’s New Year’s Rockin’ Eve! 8pm ET/PT on Dec 31 #RockinEve.”
