Ashton Kutcher and Mila Kunis have welcomed their new arrival, with a rep for Kunis confirming to ET Canada she gave birth to the couple’s second child on Nov. 30.
Although the former “That ’70s Show” co-stars have yet to reveal the baby’s name, Kutcher let it slip during a recent interview with Savannah Guthrie on “Today” that they were expecting a boy.
Following news of the birth, Kutcher and Kunis revealed their son’s name, making the announcement on Kutcher’s website A Plus.
“Today, A Plus is happy to announce that Dimitri Portwood Kutcher was born at 1:21 a.m. on November 30, weighing 8 pounds and 15 ounces,” reads the birth announcement.
In addition, the couple has a message to share with the public, indicating they’d appreciate some privacy. “We’d like to allow our kids to make their own choices on whether to have a life in the public eye or not,” Kutcher told A Plus in a phone call. “We don’t want to make the choice for them.”
The couple welcomed their first child, daughter Wyatt, back in 2014, and Kutcher joked to Guthrie that although having two years’ of parenting experience behind him has left him a bit more prepared this time, he’s “a little terrified to be honest. It’s intensely scary.”
He also described his daughter’s reaction to her mom’s pregnancy. “She points to Mila and she’s like, ‘baby brother’ when she points to the belly and then she points to dad and she goes, ‘Beer!’ So I think she gets there’s something in the belly but I don’t quite think that she knows that it’s not going to be a plastic doll yet.”
