With her latest hit “Love On The Brain” just cracking the top 10 on Billboard’s Hot 100 chart, Rihanna just hit another major milestone.
This marks the 29-year-old singer’s 30th top 10 hit, which puts her in an exclusive club of musicians.
According to Billboard magazine, Rihanna and the late Michael Jackson were tied in third place for the most top 10 singles with 29 each, but with “Love On The Brain”, Rihanna slides just ahead of the King of Pop.
Rihanna is only one of three artists to have earned at least 30 top 10 hits, with Madonna in the lead with 38, closely followed by The Beatles with 34.
“Pon De Replay”, the first of Rihanna’s long list of super successful tracks, was her breakout single from 2005.
But rumours are circulating about an upcoming “Anti 2”, a follow-up to 2016’s “Anti” which helped her earn that third place spot. So we can assume it won’t take Rihanna long to take the No. 2 spot and even No. 1.
