One of Seth Rogen’s newest projects is a romantic comedy he will star in and produce, called “Flarsky”.
The film centres on an unemployed journalist, played by Rogen, who pursues his childhood crush and babysitter, played by Charlize Theron, who now also happens to be one of the most unattainable women on the planet.
Rick Campanelli caught up with the fellow Canadian while he was at SXSW to promote the highly anticipated second season of his hit show “Preacher” and found out that the public aren’t the only ones who might think the plot is a bit of a stretch.
“It’s weird,” Seth says of the film. “It seems wrong, I feel like people will pay to see how we make [a romantic comedy with Charlize Theron] seem remotely believable,” he says.
Joking, “It’s one of those things, it’s like ‘that is worth the price of admission.’”
The film is still in pre-production but with Rogen’s “Sausage Party” scribe Evan Goldberg and Dan Sterling (the genius behind “The Interview”) on board, has the potential to be a lot of fun.
Fans can catch Charlize Theron in “The Fate of the Furious,” racing into theatres April 12, 2017. Watch the trailer below.
