It’s one thing to ignore the speed limit and put the pedal to the metal on the highway and hit speeds of 70 or 80 miles an hour, but it’s another thing entirely to strap yourself into a race car and experience what driving 160 miles per hour feels like.
That’s what billionaire Facebook founder Mark Zuckerberg discovered when he took a drive in the passenger seat while NASCAR star Deal Earnhardt Jr. showed him how it’s done on a track in Charlotte, North Carolina.
In fact, Zuckerberg shared his experiences on Facebook, telling viewers they were “live from Charlotte learning about NASCAR with Dale Earnhardt Jr., and then going for a quick drive.”
During that drive, Zuckerberg’s need for speed quickly turned to pure terror as Earnhardt rounded the track at NASCAR speeds, prompting Zuckerberg to exclaim, “Holy s**t!”
That wasn’t all Zuckerberg said during the drive, and he also declared, “What a crazy experience! This is amazing!” and “You can really feel the grip!” as the car tightly rounded turns. Watch:
