He may one of Hollywood’s biggest stars but that doesn’t mean George Clooney can’t squeeze in some quality time with his fans.
The “Money Monster” actor, who is expecting twins with his wife Amal, scheduled a one-on-one moment with one of his biggest and oldest fans over the weekend.
Clooney was spotted stopping by the Sunrise Sonning Retirement in England and Assisted Living Facility on Sunday, where he wished one special resident a happy birthday.
“The lady in the picture, loves George Clooney and mentions every day how she would love him to meet him, especially as he lives so near to where I work,” an employee at the retirement home posted on its official Facebook page, describing lucky lady Pat Adams. “So letters have been sent asking would it be possible for her dream to come true.”
And, as if a simple visit wasn’t enough, Clooney arrived for the meeting with a gift in tow. “What was extra special it was her Birthday in the week. He bought a card and a lovely bunch of flowers,” the staffer continued.
Sunrise Sonning’s staff couldn’t believe their eyes either. Several employees shared their own feelings about the Tinseltown moment to Facebook. “He popped in today, while I was on shift,” said the staffer on Facebook. “We didn’t know he was coming!”

The Clooneys have been busy in the English countryside preparing for the arrival of their twins. “[We’re] really excited – I love it. We’re going to have a great time,” he told “Good Morning America. “There’s a great old pub and there’s a great restaurant, The French Horn, there, and it’s a really beautiful, fun place to be. I’m really excited.”
