Longtime married country superstars Faith Hill and Tim McGraw are finally doing a joint album.
The tandem announced plans for an untitled album expected to be released later this year. They also debuted their first single, “Speak to a Girl, from the upcoming album on Thursday. The Grammy winners are expected to perform the track on April 2 at the 52nd Academy of Country Music Awards.
Although their upcoming work will be the duo’s first joint album, they have frequently collaborated over the years. In fact, they won a Grammy in 2001 for “Let’s Make Love” and in 2006 for “Like We Never Loved At All”.
Hill and McGraw, both 49, have been married since 1996. In addition to their new album, the couple have already announced their collaborative Soul2Soul World Tour — kicking off on April, 7.
The tour will make several stops in Canada: Vancouver on May 31, Calgary on June 2, Edmonton on June 3, Saskatoon on June 4, Winnipeg on June 7, Ottawa on June 22 and two back-to-back Toronto dates on June 23/24.
