After Donald Trump Jr. lashed out at Chelsea Handler over a comment the comedian made about the former’s brother Eric Trump, the businessman is now praising Jimmy Fallon for his compassionate style of comedy.
“Now this is funny Well done @jimmyfallon for poking some well deserved fun without being vicious & pushing a political agenda!” he tweeted, referencing a recent skit making fun of a recent New York Times photoshoot, which capture Trump Jr. sitting awkwardly on a stump. “More of this!”
It all started when Eric and his wife Lara announced they were expecting their first child. Handler, 42, replied to the news by taking a shot at the Trump family. “I guess one of Donald Trump’s sons is expecting a new baby. Just what we need. Another person with those jeans [sic]. Let’s hope for a girl.”
Within hours, Trump Jr. called out Handler over her harsh statement and poked fun at the comedian for spelling the word “genes” as “jeans”.
The 39-year-old businessman also wrote a long-form, scathing response to Handler and “the Liberal elite.”
The host of “Chelsea” on Netflix returned fire, blaming her spelling mistake on some good old cannabis.
