Gossip suggests two stars from Fox’s hit series “Empire” were “at each other’s throats” during production of season three.
If rumours are to be believed, Taraji P. Henson and Nia Long’s feud looked more like something from the Roman Empire than an entertainment empire. A rep for Long says, however, “This story is complete nonsense,” in a statement obtained by E! News.
It was said through the grape vine that Long was being rude to the makeup, hair and wardrobe teams. Her alleged attitude is said to have caused a rift between her and Henson.
TMZ claimed the two 46-year-old actresses ultimately gave each other the silent treatment, but Long’s rep insists that is not the case. “Throughout her long, established career, Nia has been nothing but a consummate professional treating all members of productions with respect,” the rep continued. “This is nothing but another complete fabrication about a series that has been plagued by constant rumours of drama and misconduct.”
Long, “The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air”, alum landed a role in season three of “Empire” as a club owner who battles with Henson’s Cookie, but it seems that art is not imitating life.
