Despite being a professional model with countless magazine covers, killing it on the runway, and starring on reality television, Kendall Jenner confesses she misses the times when life was simpler.
The “Keeping Up With The Kardashians” star told the Associated Press that she misses growing up with sister Kylie. “I’m born and raised in LA. Even as a kid I was always outside with my little sister. We were in the mud being stupid.”
The 21-year-old model even admitted that she still gets outside as much as she can. “I’m a big kid. I still love being outside and, like, in the dirt.”
But now as a full-fledged adult with an established career, Jenner reveals she sometimes just needs to take time and say “No.” “I’ve had those moments where you kind of need to just take care of yourself and say no to a certain thing, I think that’s key.”
“I’ve never been a ‘yes’ person,” Jenner continued. “If I don’t want to do something I probably am not going to do it.”
And when life gets too hectic? “I love setting my phone down and really trying to enjoy something that’s right in front of me,” she said.
Jenner is now the new face of Pepsi, which is just another thing the model can add to her already-long resume.
The reality star appears in Pepsi’s latest “Live For Now” campaign, featuring the song “Lion” by Skip Marley.
“I am thrilled to join the legendary roster of icons who have represented their generations and worked with Pepsi,” Jenner told E! news about joining the ranks of Beyonce, One Direction, Britney Spears and P!nk, who have all represented the soda brand.
“To me, Pepsi is more than just a beverage – it registers as a pop culture icon and a lifestyle that shares a voice with the generation of today. The spirit of Pepsi – living in the ‘now’ moment – is one that I believe in. I make a conscious effort in my everyday life and travels to enjoy every experience of today.”
