Victoria Beckham has trademarked her daughter Harper’s name, the youngest member in the Beckham family, who is only 5-years-old.
The former Spice Girl has registered “Harper Beckham” with intellectual property authorities in Britain and Europe.
The application was filed back in December which leaves mom Victoria as the holder of rights as parent and guardian, meaning she is the only person who can legally use “Harper Beckham” on products and will prevent anyone in the industry from using that name.
Victoria and husband David Beckham’s other three children have also been registered.
The Beckham family businesses have been estimated to be worth hundreds of millions of dollars, including Victoria’s very successful fashion line.
The Beckham parents aren’t the only members to gain success, Brooklyn, 18, has made a name as a photographer with his first book due out in May, Romeo, 14, has a modelling career taking off including a Burberry campaign, and Cruz, 12, is pursuing a music career.
David registered his name in 2000 followed by Victoria in 2002.
